Microsoft has released an update to the Windows 11 PC Health Check App with more detailed messaging on why a computer may not be ready for Windows 11. The messages include such items as: lack of TPM; secure boot being turned off; too small a system disk or an unsupported processor.
It has been pointed out that the messages the tool gives out still need more details in some cases: “the processor isn’t supported” isn’t too helpful, as it doesn’t tell you why your CPU can’t run Windows 11. Should you upgrade a component or two in your system or buy a new PC, you’re going to have to do some more research.
