Microsoft has unveiled its “next generation” operating system at a virtual event. On first looks, users will find it very familiar as it is built on the Windows 10 code, so what’s new in Windows 11?
Apart from the obvious changes like the start menu and rounded corners on windows, there is quite a list.
For example there have been improvements to:
- File Explorer Layout
- Windows Widgets
- Windows Sandbox
- Windows Clipboard
- Windows Store
- New touch keyboard
- Task Manager
- Optimize Drives tool
- New Task View and Virtual desktops experience
and bloatware has been removed and there will be Android apps support in the Windows Store.
